The hallmark of our brand is to always be a good environmental steward and to champion the Slow Fashion Movement. There is nothing that compares to creating something wonderful with feelgood fabrics. It is Domestic Phoenix’s mission to share this experience with fiber artists everywhere, one kit and yard at a time.

What's Inside a Phoenix Kit?
Designer Deadstock: Within the fashion industry, there’s always extra material left over that can’t be used in designs or for its intended purpose. This is what we call deadstock fabric. We source deadstock from American wholesalers and Southern California-based high-end apparel companies. Since deadstock fabric minimizes waste and lowers the amount of textiles in landfills globally, it is regarded as sustainable and environmentally neutral.
Certified Organic Cotton: Fabrics from renowned quilting and fashion fabric companies including Birch Fabrics, Monaluna, Clothworks, Cloud9, and Bastine are included in Phoenix Kits.
Essential Supplies: We purposefully include only tools and materials you'll need to work with the bundled fabrics. This includes interfacing, machine needles, coordinating thread, pins, etc.
Textile Guides: The Textile Guides attached to each cut of fabric presents comprehensive information about your fabrics including length, weight, use recommendations, care, and industry tips.
Why no sewing patterns? To ensure gender neutrality and support the LGBTQ+ inclusive maker community, Phoenix Kits do not include sewing patterns. Instead, we encourage you to utilize your pattern stash or create your own designs.
